Kick-off workshop for the 1st year class, , Architecture Department Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. (2022, 2023)
The "Kick-off" workshop is a five-day practical opening workshop, held the week before the beginning of the semester for first year students (about 90 students). A series of short exercises accompanied by guidance, demonstrations and lectures, make an initial acquaintance with basic concepts at architectural thought and practice, such as framing, plan and section. The workshop also exposes the students to key values in the heart of the architectural practice, such as precision and clarity.
The workshop was designed and delivered in collaboration with Oren Shagiv (2022) and Heli Rakhimimov (2023).
